TRAINING CENTRES

Arid Communities and Technologies (A.C.T.) is a professional voluntary organization and working in semi arid to arid region. A.C.T. is mainly focuses on research program and training program for capacity building mainly in water resource and agriculture field. So ACT has two physical unit, one is Planning and research center and second one is Training center. A.C.T. organize regular training program at different level like young technologist, Para engineers in both the field. The course outline for regular program has been finalized. There is provision for need base short modules, in which ACT design module as per need comes from organization. ACT training center is functioning separately and updates knowledge from research program. Main objective to establishment of training center is “To serve, disseminate and build capacity of traditional scientific knowledge to those people who want to work on natural resource development and management in arid to semi arid region to secure their livelihood for long term.”
