Eligibility : The minimum eligibility criteria for these training will be that trainee should be at least secondary appeared.

Duration :

The time duration of the training programme for this module is 45 days and these 45 days will be staggered into 10 to 12 days in 4 months. The trainee will be given the homework to prepare the planning of the villages from which they belong and which they belong and the plan will be assessed after they will come back.


Batch Size :

The size of the batch will be 12-16 in numbers (probably 16). There would two trainee from each village.


Fee (for year 2008) : Rs. 22,500/- (This includes lodging and boarding to the trainee)

  • Aquifer identification and definition of aquiclude, aquifuse and aquitard
  • To understand groundwater resources in village
  • Water harvesting structure evaluation and analysis
     

Watershed and demand supply scenario of a village

  • Watershed characteristics of village
  • Water demand of the village
  • Estimation of Water resources potential of village
  • Climate of Kachchh and its relation with water
  • Rain fall analysis
